Center Feeder

Eisbär's Center Feeder defines the interface between material drying and injection moulding.

Outlet of the drying hopper and inlet of the extruder are placed central upon the other.

The primary task is to guarantee a free material flow from the drying hopper to the extruder. The Center Feeder avoids long dwell time of single material pieces in the feeding. A long dwell time of single parts causes a cooling down of this parts and an increased risk of unmelts in the injection process.

Compared with the material hose this source of trouble is simply eliminated with the use of Eisbär's Center Feeder.
